How to Pigeon Pose

    Benefits:

    This great hip opener is a favorite of yogis and runners and runner yogis. It provides a deep stretch to the hip and helps to relieve lower back pain. 

    How it's done:

    1. From King Pigeon Pose, hinge forward at the hips, and place your elbows on the ground in front of you.
    2. When comfortable, you can stretch lower by folding your hands together and resting your head on top of them.
    3. When comfortable there, and to deepen the stretch more, move your hands and arms straight out in front of you on the floor, relax your head.
